We recomend that you first set up the Beach Table with an umbrella in your yard to become familiar with its features.

Rubber Grommet — The Rubber grommet will stay in place in the back center file of the table unless it is poked out. It will hold umbrellais in place with a shaft diameter of 1" or 1 1/4". Foi umbrellas with a larger shaft, the grommet can be removed. IMPORTANT To remove grommet from umbrella shaft after using, lift the table off of sand spike while umbrella is in place and pull grommet off end of umbrella shaft. For small pole umbrellas, you may try two grommets. Additional grommets will be sent to you upon request with your name and address.

Hard Plastic Edge — Use the table as a hammer, striking the sand spike with the plastic edge of the table.

Velcro Straps — These straps pull apart and then can be refastened tightly securing sand spike, umbrella and other items.

In a strong wind the entire unit should be tilted into the wind.

For large pole or "Lifeguard" type umbrellas, forcing the umbrella, after table is setup, with the typical back and forth method may also be used.

The Beach Table has been treated with Thompson's wood protector. It may be desirable to coat table with polyurethane or other hard finish. Test on small area on back of table.
